Reconditioning of a shell and tube heat exchanger which was damaged by difficult and sometimes non-standard operating conditions.
Shell and Tube
Heat exchanger type TEMA AFM 28-288-4, including titanium construction on the tube side for resistance to filtrate corrosion.

The customer must cool the filtrate which is a reject from his process. He takes the opportunity to preheat his supply of fresh water. The energy savings are significant and justify the cost of maintaining this exchanger in operation.
Several industrial processes must dispose of non-recoverable products and encounter an environmental constraint as to the temperature or the quality of the discharge. When the customer has an energy need that matches the conditioning of the release, a solution emerges.
